Greg Carter - NuVisions Photographer

Born and raised in South Africa, Greg came to California to put his business background to work as Nuvisions’ Studio Manager. Early in the game, he mastered the art of photography as well.
Today Greg brings an unusually powerful — combination of creativity and business insight to Nuvisions clients.

As a photographer, he’s known for moving quickly yet staying calm, using his sense of humor to keep things light on the set. His creative strengths embrace both personal talents and technology: an eye-stopping image he created for Xara Soccer was named International Best in Show at the 2008 Photoshop User Awards.

Greg is a tireless perfectionist whose definition of personal
best keeps rising. “My greatest goal is very simple: to create
a picture you can look at for longer than five seconds,” he says. “Every photographer knows the kind of image I’m talking about. It’s the rare, powerful one that makes you say, “Wow —I wish
I’d thought of that.” Away from the camera, Greg continues to manage the studio – and he likes the dichotomy. “It’s important to stay connected to the administrative side of the business,” he says. “It helps me see things from our clients’ point of view, and understand that all the creativity in the world means nothing if it fails to support their success.”
